Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains how LeagueHaus uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and in our iOS and Android apps. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your browser. Cookies let a site recognize your browser across requests so it can keep you signed in, remember preferences, and protect requests against forgery.

2. The cookies we use

We use only cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service. We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Cookies used by LeagueHaus
CookiePurposeLifetime
authjs.session-tokenKeeps you signed in. Set when you sign in with an emailed link or, in our apps, an emailed sign-in code.90 days
authjs.csrf-tokenProtects sign-in and sign-out requests against cross-site request forgery.Session
authjs.callback-urlRemembers where to send you after a successful sign-in.Session

Cookie names may carry an additional __Secure- or __Host- prefix depending on the environment.

3. Local storage and similar technologies

We store a small amount of non-sensitive data in your browser's localStorage or sessionStorage to remember UI preferences (for example, your light or dark theme, or that you dismissed the notifications prompt). Your browser may also keep a cached copy of our offline page so it can show it when you lose your connection. If you opt into push notifications, your browser stores a push subscription endpoint that we use to deliver those notifications.

4. Our iOS and Android apps

Our apps display the LeagueHaus website inside an in-app web view, so they use the same cookies and storage described above, in the same way. When you sign in to an app with an emailed sign-in code, we set the authjs.session-token cookie inside the app's web view. That cookie and the app's web storage are kept on your device, separate from any browser you use, and are not shared with other apps.

The apps do not use advertising identifiers or third-party analytics or tracking tools, and they store nothing else of ours on your device. If you turn on notifications, Apple's or Google's push service keeps a push registration for the app on your device; we keep a copy of its push token on our servers, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Signing out of the app removes the session cookie. Uninstalling the app removes all of this data; on Android you can also clear it under Settings → Apps → LeagueHaus → Storage → Clear storage. To stop notifications, turn them off in your device's settings for the app.

5. Analytics and advertising

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We do not sell personal information and we do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under the CCPA.

6. How to control cookies

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings (for our apps, see Section 4). Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from signing in and using the Service.

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data
  • Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above.
