Accessibility
LeagueHaus is used at bars, courts and kitchen tables, by people with a wide range of abilities. We want everyone to be able to join a league, follow the scores and run a night. This page explains what we are aiming for, what we have done, where we still fall short, and how to tell us about a problem.
1. Our commitment
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This is an ongoing effort, and we do not claim full conformance today.
2. What this covers
- The LeagueHaus website and web app
- The LeagueHaus iOS and Android apps
- The TV display used to show live boards at a venue
- Emails we send, such as sign-in links, reminders and recaps
3. What we do
- We check our screens with automated accessibility tools (axe) during development.
- We have audited our code for accessibility problems and keep fixing what we find.
- Our test suite checks colour contrast so text stays readable.
4. Known limitations
We know about the following gaps:
- The PDFs produced by the league print kit (posters, table tents and coasters) are untagged, so screen readers cannot navigate them. The same information is available on the website.
- The iOS and Android apps do not yet follow your device's large-text settings everywhere.
- We are working through a list of further improvements to the website, apps and TV display. As fixes ship, we will update this page.
5. Compatibility
LeagueHaus is designed to work with recent versions of the major browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge) and with the screen readers built into our target platforms: VoiceOver on iOS and macOS, and TalkBack on Android.
6. Report a barrier
If something is hard or impossible to use, please tell us. Use the accessibility feedback form or email support@leaguehaus.app. Tell us the page or screen, what you were trying to do, and the assistive technology you use if you are comfortable sharing it. We aim to respond within 2 business days.
